NY rent freeze

SCRIE (Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption): Freezes the rent for head-of-household seniors 62 and older who live in rent-regulated apartments.
DRIE (Disability Rent Increase Exemption): An exemption against future rent increases for eligible disabled persons living in rent-controlled, rent-stabilized, Mitchell-Lama, and other eligible apartments.
SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program): Provides benefits to low-income individuals and families and provides economic benefits to communities.
HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program): Helps low-income people pay the cost of heating their homes.
